A lawsuit filed against the actress Tiffany Haddish and comedian Aries Spears has been dismissed. The suit was filed in federal court in California. It accused the actress of hiring children to be in promotional videos. The actress later said she regretted making the videos. Her lawyer called the lawsuit a “shakedown.” Haddish’s lawyer also said the lawsuit was extortion.
The child molestation lawsuit was filed against Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears by a woman named Jane Doe. The actress had allegedly groomed the child while on the set of her TV show “MADtv.” The actress was accused of intentional infliction of emotional distress, gross negligence, and negligence of supervision. She was also accused of constructive fraud.
Aries Spears and Tiffany Haddish are now out of the child molestation lawsuit after a judge granted a motion to dismiss the case with prejudice. The suit was filed by a woman named Jane Doe who said she was filmed with Haddish and Aries Spears while she was a child. Both were accused of sexually abusing the girl, as well as breaching fiduciary duties and engaging in constructive fraud.
Haddish was also accused of using the boy’s younger brother in a skit with Spears. The skit was filmed in 2014 at Spears’ home, when the boy was seven years old. In the skit, Haddish plays the boy’s mother, and Spears lusts over the boy while wearing his underwear. The video was then uploaded on the “Funny or Die” website.
