<h2 style="text-align: center;">Red Bull Spiral Brings a New Wave of Heat</h2>
<p>Red Bull’s <em>Spiral</em> <a href="https://groundupradio.com/rapper-symba-addresses-funk-master-flex-2pac-disrespect-during-freestyle/">freestyle</a> platform just got its biggest moment yet—and the internet is still trying to catch its breath. On this latest edition, lyrical heavyweights <a href="https://groundupradio.com/qtvideo/dj-premier-beat-breaks-feat-nas-official-audio/">Joey BadA$$</a>, Ab-Soul, and Big Sean teamed up for a cypher that’s already being etched into hip-hop history. Shot in a dynamic rotating setup that’s become Spiral’s signature, this cypher didn&#8217;t just showcase skill—it sparked controversy.</p>

<h2 style="text-align: center;">Big Sean Opens with Swagger &; Veteran Presence</h2>
<p><a href="https://groundupradio.com/qtvideo/video-big-sean-hit-boy-loyal-to-a-fault-ft-bryson-tiller-lil-durk/">Big Sean</a> kicked off the cypher and set the tone with his confident, composed delivery. He brought that signature Detroit flavor and cleverly laced bars, steering clear of controversy while still letting it be known that his pen is sharp:</p>
<blockquote>
<p style="text-align: center;">“Truth is if you wake up hating life, then you hate yourself.”<br />
“No wonder, ’cause you live your life based on a carousel.”</p>
</blockquote>
<p>Sean’s verse was more meditative than combative, but still powerful. He carved out his lane with charisma, focusing on self-awareness and longevity, exactly the kind of grown-man rap fans have come to expect from him.</p>

<h2 style="text-align: center;">Ab-Soul Delivers with Razor-Sharp Precision</h2>
<p><a href="https://open.spotify.com/album/4h3I43cFQyDqezGcREnTK6?si=g0GMMEWMQOqp5VMpR6XQ0w">Ab-Soul</a> came in next and did what he always does—<strong>make you rewind his verse</strong> just to catch the layers. He showed love to both his TDE family and Joey’s Pro Era camp, but not before making it clear that this lyrical sparring is still sport:</p>
<blockquote>
<p style="text-align: center;">“Just be lucky that Soul ain’t steppin’ in. All of y’all would’ve had to shoot the boat with the ocean view.”</p>
</blockquote>
<p>That’s a flex only Ab-Soul could make, combining intellect with intimidation.</p>
<div id="attachment_6770" style="width: 1894px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-6770" data-attachment-id="6770" data-permalink="https://groundupradio.com/joey-bada-ab-soul-big-sean-deliver-lyrical-smoke-in-red-bull-spiral-freestyle-cypher/image-5-14-25-at-2-18-am/" data-orig-file="https://i0.wp.com/groundupradio.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Image-5-14-25-at-2.18%E2%80%AFAM.jpeg?fit=1884%2C988&;ssl=1" data-orig-size="1884,988" data-comments-opened="1" data-image-title="Image 5-14-25 at 2.18â¯AM" data-image-description="" data-image-caption="" data-large-file="https://i0.wp.com/groundupradio.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Image-5-14-25-at-2.18%E2%80%AFAM.jpeg?fit=1024%2C537&;ssl=1" class="wp-image-6770 size-full" src="https://groundupradio.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Image-5-14-25-at-2.18â¯AM.jpeg" alt="" width="1884" height="988" /><p id="caption-attachment-6770" class="wp-caption-text">Joey BadA$$ anchors the cypher with some interesting bars pointed at a few rappers.</p></div>
<h2 style="text-align: center;">Joey BadA$$: Bars, Bruises &; Bold Disrespect</h2>
<p>Joey BadA$$ wrapped up the cypher, and it’s safe to say he closed it with a bang. Not just with metaphors and double entendres, but with <strong>pointed subliminals that fans believe are direct shots</strong> at several rappers who previously responded to his freestyle released earlier this year.</p>
<blockquote>
<p style="text-align: center;">“Y’all bums could probably teach a masterclass on taking Ls.”<br />
“Don’t be one of them n<strong>s that read the room wrong.”</strong><br />
<strong>“Grave digger. How n</strong>s even want my name on they tombstone?”</p>
</blockquote>
<p>Twitter and Reddit lit up within minutes. Many fans speculated that Joey’s lines were aimed at rappers who accused him of being irrelevant or complacent. The kicker? <strong>He never names names</strong>, but the lyrical smoke is too thick to ignore.</p>
<h2 style="text-align: center;">Fan Reactions: Speculation &; Salutes</h2>
<p>Social media hasn’t stopped dissecting the bars since the video dropped. Many are calling it the best cypher of the year so far. Joey’s closing verse, especially, has fans playing internet detective, trying to match disses with potential targets. Some believe Joey&#8217;s “Grave digger” line might be directed at newer rappers trying to climb by taking jabs at veterans.</p>
