Latto Teams Up With Planned Parenthood For Abortion Rights

Latto is continuing to fight for abortion rights, and is teaming up with Planned Parenthood for an upcoming 30-second PSA. The video calls on viewers to join the fight for the right to choose. The PSA arrives just ahead of the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards. Latto is up for three awards this year, including Best New Artist, Video for Good, and Best Hip-Hop Video.

With the current state of affairs, Latto is joining forces with Planned Parenthood to raise awareness for the issue. Her new song, “P*SSY,” is a response to the overturning of Roe v. Wade, and sends a powerful message about control of a woman’s body. She is also donating part of the profits of her album to Planned Parenthood in support of her new cause.

Planned Parenthood is a trusted sexual and reproductive health care provider, and it is also a leading advocate of reproductive rights. During the 1980s, the expansion of abortion rights sparked a fierce backlash from opponents. Violence was perpetrated against women seeking an abortion. There have also been instances of extremists targeting health centers.

The Obama administration’s decision to end the global gag rule and expand health care coverage was an important step for women. The Affordable Care Act also mandated that health insurance plans cover birth control and preventative care services. As a result, Planned Parenthood continues to help millions of women in the United States.

Planned Parenthood’s history stretches back to the mid-19th century. Founded in Brooklyn, New York, Planned Parenthood is now the largest provider of affordable health care. It is also the nation’s leading provider of sex education.

After the 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling, nearly a third of U.S. states have laws that restrict access to abortion. In some states, denying someone access to an abortion has devastating consequences. Abortion is a basic human right, and denying someone the right to have an abortion has consequences that can last for a lifetime.
