SZA’S SOS Album Enters At Number 1 For 10th Week On Billboard 200 Chart
SZA’s sophomore LP SOS has landed at number one for the ninth nonconsecutive week on the Billboard 200 chart. The set earned 93,000 equivalent album units in the week ending February 16, according to Luminate, a data provider for Billboard charts.
The chart-topper also sets a new record for most weeks at number one for an R&B/hip-hop album by a woman, since Mariah Carey’s 11-week run in 1991 on her self-titled album. SZA joins Adele and Taylor Swift as the only female artists to have an album spend at least seven nonconsecutive weeks at number one on the list this century.
