It’s official … the Los Angeles Rams will face the Cincinnati Bengals for the National Football League Championship! On February 13th, they face off for Super Bowl LVI in the city of Inglewood, California at SoFi Stadium. With such a West Coast background for this match up, why not have a West Coast influenced half time show? Enter Aftermath Records.
With last year’s announcement of Aftermath Record’s confirmation of of headlining the half time show, there have been rumors of the roll out of new music from Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, and Kendrick Lamar. All three are Aftermath artists, with Dr. Dre at the reigns as CEO. The fire began to burn hot with the release of the Grand Theft Auto V video game spin off, The Contract, which included cameos and new music from Dre, Em, Snoop, and a host of others. The move was well received and has driven the anticipation for more to come.
To feed the buzz, the official trailer for the Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show has been released and it delivers. Featuring Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, and R&B Diva Mary J Blige, the halftime vibes drip with five heavy hitting musical legends with a bevy of hits! With the Super Bowl Halftime Show being one of the most highly viewed events of the year, could this be the momentum to cart in new music from all of the artists involved?
