If you didn’t know, Cormega is a hip hop artist that could be classified as “a rapper’s rapper”. Even prior to his deal with Def Jam Records in the late ’90s and his short stint with super group The Firm (which featured Nas, AZ, and Foxy Brown. Nature replaced Cormega after his departure from the group), the Queensbridge hustler turned rapper was regarded by many as the best out of the same neighborhood that produced the likes of Nas, Mobb Deep, MC Shan, and Roxane Shante. Over the years, Mega has has continued to work independently and solidify himself as solid emcee.
Going into the new year, Cormega offers up his latest project “Mega”. With 5 new tracks (and the instrumentals), the project only has one feature from Mobb Deep rapper/producer Havoc. Stream available below, courtesy of Spotify. #PRESSPLAY
