Rihanna has released her first single in six years, Lift Me Up, which will appear on the soundtrack for the upcoming Black Panther: Wakanda Forever film. The song is a tribute to the late actor, Chadwick Boseman, who starred in the original Black Panther film and later went on to appear in the Avengers films Infinity War and Endgame. Boseman died of cancer in 2020, and Rihanna’s song is a fitting tribute.

The song was written in memory of the late actor Chadwick Boseman, who died of colon cancer after a four-year battle with the illness. In the film, Boseman starred as T’Challa, the King of Wakanda, and the song was dedicated to him. The song, which was produced by The-Dream, will play during the credits of the film.

Rihanna is also set to perform at the 2023 Super Bowl halftime show, which will be held in Glendale, Arizona. This will be her first major performance since performing at the Grammys in 2018. She will perform ‘Wild Thoughts’ with producer DJ Khaled and Bryson Tiller.
