MAD SKILLZ – RAP UP 2021 “THE END OF AN ERA”
Hip Hop veteran emcee Mad Skillz has kept his reputation for delivering an annual “Rap Up” track for 20 years straight. Always delivering with his knack for vivid lyrics, Skillz has rounded out the year’s top highlights since 2001. Even with his shift from rapping to djing, the demand for his Rap Up is still present amongst the culture.
Skillz has made mention of no longer making Rap Up tracks in the past and was recently quoted as saying he was no longer interested in making another one. Well, not so much. Right in time for the fresh start of 2022, Skillz has released Rap Up 2021 “The End Of An Era”. Skillz effortlessly hits highlights of 2021 while flowing in pocket with Jay’Z’s “Encore” instrumental. The video accompanying the track tells the tale of the tape and features interview footage of Skillz explaining the origins of the Rap Up.
