Kodak Black Arrested For Controlled Substance Possession & Trafficking

Kodak Black was arrested for possession of oxycodone and trafficking. He remained behind bars pending his bail hearing. The Florida Highway Patrol stopped Kodak Black while he was driving a purple Dodge Durango. The troopers found seventy-five thousand dollars in cash and 31 white oxycodone tablets inside the vehicle. The pills, which are highly addictive, were found in a small clear bag that was inside his vehicle.

He faces two drug charges, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and trafficking in oxycodone. He was taken to Broward County jail after being arrested. The rapper’s legal troubles have been numerous, including charges of auto theft when he was still in middle school. He was also sentenced to three years in federal prison for weapons charges in early 2019.

Kodak’s arrest comes a week before a scheduled performance at Rolling Loud Miami. The Rolling Loud festival is a major concert in Miami, and Black was scheduled to appear on the bill.
