Drake Brings Out 21 Savage & Dipset At Apollo Theatre Show In NYC

Drake Brings Out 21 Savage Dipset For Apollo Theatre Show In NYC

Drake is the biggest rap star in the world. He has released a wide variety of music, including full-length albums, loosies, and mixtapes. His catalog is diverse, but he does dive into some emotional corners. With that in mind, it’s no surprise that he performed some of his most personal songs at his Apollo Theater concert on Saturday. Among the songs performed were “Over My Dead Body,” “Headlines,” and “Say Something,” and he even enlisted the help of his longtime collaborator 21 Savage.

The show was an intimate affair. There were only around 1,500 seats, and it was performed in front of a small audience of close friends and family. Drake opened the show by paying homage to his roots. During his first few songs, he appeared to be in a basement reminiscent of his mother’s bedroom. Throughout the show, he changed his wardrobe numerous times. At one point, he wore a yellow and blue basketball jersey and a pink fur coat. As he went from one song to the next, his fans were stoked.

Throughout his performance, he also paid homage to the legendary New York artists who were in attendance, and gave them flowers. Those who were inside the Apollo Theater were treated to free drinks. They also got a commemorative T-shirt.

He also gave out custom OVO x Dipset bracelets. These T-shirts featured the original show flier, along with an OVO owl on the back. The Apollo Theater is a proving ground for raw talent, and this show was no exception.

21 Savage made a brief appearance, performing songs from his latest collab album with Drake, Her Loss. Other guest performers included Ice Spice, Will Makris, Michael Rubin, and Odell Beckham Jr. Several industry figures were also in attendance, such as Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber.

As the show was winding down, Drake announced that he would be recording the event and airing it on his SiriusXM channel. However, there was no official word on when it will be released. Regardless, it will be the last Drake performance at the Apollo.

Drake’s Apollo performance was an incredible night for all involved. Fans screamed their appreciation for the artist’s talents. And although he did postpone his concert multiple times, he didn’t let an injury stop him from performing. It was clear that Drake is grateful for his fans, and is entering the new year with a sense of gratitude.

Among the highlights of his performance, Drake performed his biggest hits. In addition to those, he showed off some of his deepest cuts. After performing his hits, he even transformed the stage into a bodega.
