Dr Dre, Snoop Dogg And More Win Emmy For 2022 Superbowl Performance
It was a once-in-a-lifetime performance for Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, but they won an Emmy for their work during the 2022 Superbowl halftime show. The Grammy-winning rapper and producer is credited with curating the show at the Inglewood’s SoFi Stadium, which took place before the Los Angeles Rams defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20.
Pepsi Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show featuring Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent, and Eminem has won the Emmy for Outstanding Variety Special (Live). It was nominated for five Primetime Emmy Awards.
The Creative Arts Emmys are split into two ceremonies this year and will be recapped on September 10 on FXX. The Creative Arts Emmys celebrate unscripted shows, animation, and variety shows.
