She gave a motivational speech to the students and answered questions. She then announced a $100K donation to the school in an Instagram post.
In the video, Cardi B talks about her time as a student at the school. She talks about how she has been through difficult times and how she was able to overcome them with determination. She says her own experiences in middle school were not easy, and she once fought with a classmate. She told the kids that they have to embrace their challenges and think long-term.
The rapper also speaks to the students of I.S. 232, which is located in Morris Heights. While there, she met with Schools Chancellor David Banks and spoke to students about their future goals. She also gave a motivational speech about the power of public schools.
