Big K.R.I.T. is a true reflection of the phrase “underground king”. Critically acclaimed, yet not an artist who has broken through to the mainstream, K.R.I.T. continues to press forward with his unapologetic approach to rap music. He’s paid his dues in the industry, landing on the 2011 XXL Freshmen Class Cover with the likes of YG, Meek Mill, Cyhi Da Prynce, Kendrick Lamar, & Mac Miller (RIP). The video reflects the visions that seep through his music; a hood scene, a modern day slave auction (an obvious reflection of the current music industry), and scene that has K.R.I.T. spitting his lyrics in front of a church congregation.
