Ludacris Business Partner Chaka Zulu Charged With Murder

The Atlanta Police Department is investigating a shooting death involving Ludacris business partner Chaka Zulu. The rapper and Zulu founded the label Disturbing Tha Peace Records in 1998. The label signed Ludacris as its first artist. Since then, Zulu has served as the rapper’s manager. He also represents other Atlanta artists such as Big K.R.I.T., Jeezy, and many others. Zulu is also the head of artist and talent relations for Spotify.

Chaka Zulu is the manager of the rapper and co-founder of the record label. He has been charged with murder and aggravated assault. His legal counsel claims that Zulu was acting in self-defense when he shot the victims. However, Zulu has not denied the charges against him.

Zulu was born Ahmed Obafemi. He is the manager of rapper Ludacris. The charges against him are a result of an altercation involving the deceased, Artez Benton, and Zulu. Zulu was also shot during the incident. The two men were arguing and eventually a shootout ensued. Zulu was arrested and posted $200,000 bond.

According to the Atlanta police department, Zulu, whose legal name is Ahmed Obafemi, turned himself in on Tuesday and was released on bail. He is accused of murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and simple battery. He has retained the services of Gabe Banks, a celebrity attorney.

Zulu is confident of being cleared of all charges. According to TMZ, sources familiar with Zulu’s case say that he acted in self-defense. The rapper has maintained his innocence throughout the entire process, and he remains hopeful of acquittal.
