Hulu To Release Freaknik Documentary Executive Produced By Jermaine Dupri & Uncle Luke
The Atlanta hip-hop community has long sought to bring back the infamous Freaknik event. Founded in the 1980s, it was a coveted spring break celebration that included dance contests, concerts, parties, sporting events, rap sessions and job fairs. However, the event was ultimately put on hiatus in 1999 due to safety concerns.
A new Freaknik documentary will be coming to Hulu soon, and it will feature a number of rappers as well as celebrities. Among the names involved in the project are Uncle Luke, Jermaine Dupri, Geraldine L. Porras and director P Frank Williams.
There is no word yet on the exact release date of this upcoming Freaknik documentary, but it will be coming to Hulu soon. It is titled, ” Freaknik: The Wildest Party Never Told”. The doc will be written and directed by P. Frank Williams and Luther Campbell and Jermaine Dupri will serve as an executive producer.
