<p>Rapper and producer Curtis &#8220;<a href="https://groundupradio.com/50-cent-lands-new-content-deal-after-leaving-starz/">50 Cent</a>&#8221; Jackson has entered into a non-exclusive, multi-project broadcast direct deal with Fox Entertainment through his production company G-Unit Film &; Television. The new deal will allow the rapper and his company to develop scripted dramas, live-action comedies and animated series that Fox will own. The deal was announced by Fox Entertainment president of scripted programming Michael Thorn.</p>
<p>The move comes on the heels of a number of other prominent filmmakers signing deals with Fox, including Rodney Rothman (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse), Adam Rosenberg and Carol Mendelsohn (CSI and its numerous counterparts). Last year, the company also signed a broadcast direct deal with writer/producer/director McG (Supernatural, Lethal Weapon, We Are Marshall).</p>
<p>Since launching his filmed entertainment company G-Unit Film &; Television in 2005, Jackson has developed several projects, most recently the Starz series Power. It features Jackson as a co-star, executive producer and director and its spinoffs include Power Book II: Ghost, Power Book III: Raising Kanan and Power Book IV: Force.</p>
<p>In addition to the Starz series, G-Unit Film &; Television has produced ABC&#8217;s For Life and the Black Mafia Family docuseries and is currently developing <a href="https://www.vibe.com/news/movies-tv/50-cents-drama-fightland-starz-1234719512/">Fightland</a> and <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3gEdVLW3pW0">Queen Nzinga</a> at the cable network. The company is also delving into film with a three-picture deal with Eli Roth and 3BlackDot.</p>
<p>The multi-hyphenate musician and TV showrunner is a true powerhouse of a producer, and his new deal with Fox shows how much the network values him as a content creator. Whether it&#8217;s music, film or television, he always delivers premium entertainment that captivates millions of fans around the world.</p>
