Critically acclaimed, yet not an artist who has broken through to the mainstream, K.R.I.T. continues to press forward with his unapologetic approach to rap music. He&#8217;s paid his dues in the industry, landing on the 2011 XXL Freshmen Class Cover with the likes of YG, Meek Mill, Cyhi Da Prynce, Kendrick Lamar, &; Mac Miller (RIP). After departing ways with Def Jam Recordings in 2016, K.R.I.T. opted to go the independent route.
