Video: AZ – “It’s Time”

AZ is one of the most critically acclaimed, fan favorite rappers of all time. Since his introduction to the world via his feature (notably the only rhyming feature at that) on Nas’ classic album “Illmatic” spitting a timeless 16 bars on the opening of “Life’s A B*tch” , his lyrics, cadence, and delivery have been praised by countless hip hop heads. Having dropped a string of albums and features (to include the Grammy nominated “The Essence” with Nas), he hasn’t seen the same amount of limelight success as many of his peers have. However, AZ still thrives with a solid fan base and legendary aura that cannot be denied. Still sounding and looking like himself after over 20 years in the game, AZ drops a visual to his new single, “It’s Time” and it’s refreshing. The beat is a solid salute to the Kool G. Rap classic “It’s A Demo”, using the same James Brown sample and tempo. AZ styles it in his authentic flow and doesn’t sound like he’s leaving this game anytime soon! #PRESSPLAY
