It’s a pretty shocking comparison, as the 23-year-old ‘Bikini Bottom’ artist has transformed into a whole new look in recent years.

Isis Gaston, better known as Ice Spice, has been making her mark on the hip hop scene in 2022 after her viral hit “Munch (Feelin’ U)” garnered her millions of streams and an impressive co-sign from Drake. Though she’s been a bit criticized for her rap style, the Bronx native has crafted a respectable place in the industry.

Her authenticity is what sets her apart from other emerging artists and the reaction for her debut project has been mostly positive. Her blunt Bronx rawness and crafty marketing strategies have helped her earn a solid reputation in the music community and have paved her way to a promising future.

Despite her meteoric rise, she’s still very much in touch with her family. She shares a series of family photos on Instagram, demonstrating her love for her mother and sister.

As for her career, she’s been making big waves since releasing her debut EP, Like.?, last month. It includes bangers such as “Gangsta Boo” ft. Lil Tjay, “In Ha Mood,” and “Bikini Bottom.”

She’s a talented rapper who’s taking her career in a new direction, blending Drill music with funky lyrics. Her combination of blunt Bronx rawness, crafty marketing and sarcastic yet genuine online presence have helped her establish herself as a rising star in a competitive music industry.
