Rap fans have long been asking when DJ Premier and Nas will release new music together, but the collaboration has yet to come. However, the two are teasing fans with new music through social media. A recent video posted by DJ Premier showed a gold Illmatic plaque hanging above the door to the studio, as well as a snippet of a new track. Fans can’t wait to hear this song!

The duo has worked together before, as he has produced numerous singles for Nas. In 1999, Nas released “Nas Is Like.” This collaboration is expected to come from the Nas’ company, Mass Appeal, which takes its name from the classic Gang Starr song. But how soon will fans get to hear their new music? We can only guess, but let’s wait and see.
