According to a recent report, Cardi B and Lil Kim are reportedly working together in the studio. It’s unclear if this is a new song, or just a remix. The two are said to be having trouble deciding what song to record. However, they both seem to have a few songs in mind. They were also seen smiling in footage from the studio.

A snippet of the alleged collaboration is making the rounds on Twitter. According to reports, the song will be titled Lavish. Previously, the track was featured on a Genius page, but that page has since been removed. In the meantime, Cardi B hinted that she is working on a new song. The two are also reportedly working on a song with another female rapper.

Lil Kim has been supportive of Cardi in the past. The two rappers have tweeted each other on Instagram. Kim also teased a remake of “Ladies Night” with Cardi. In 2017, Kim and Cardi celebrated Bodak Yellow’s success on the Billboard Hot 100.

Lil Kim has a long history of working with other female artists. She recently featured on Megan Thee Stallion’s “Plan B,” which was pulled from streaming services for copyright reasons. The International Federation of Pornographic Industry claims copyright to the song.

Though the release date has not been revealed, fans should keep an eye on the news in the weeks and months ahead. Hopefully, the duo will release an album together this year. If it is true, it’s the best Christmas present ever for fans of the two artists.
