Two charges have been filed against A$AP Rocky. Law enforcement sources say the rapper fired three to four shots at the man without warning or provocation. The shooting was caught on surveillance cameras near the scene. Rocky is expected to plead not guilty.
The rapper is being sued by the victim, former A$AP Mob member A$AP Relli (real name Terell Ephron), who claims he was the victim of the shooting. Rocky, however, is denying the accusations and will file a civil lawsuit against him. In addition to the criminal charges, Terell Ephron claims Rocky had tricked him into meeting him at a nightclub and that he pulled up with a gun, which he shot into Relli’s hand. The shooting left the victim with minor injuries, but no one can say for sure.
A$AP Rocky has been formally charged with two counts of assault with a firearm. The rapper, born Rakim Mayers, was arrested in April upon arriving to Los Angeles by airplane. The shooting took place last November.
