Mobb Deep is one of hip hop’s most recognized and respected duos of all time. Havoc, one half of the duo, sits down with DJ Vlad to reflect on the duo.s start and climb through the ranks of hip hop. From the beginnings of their career to the initial burn of their classic “Shook Ones Pt.2”, Havoc and his partner in rhyme, Prodigy (who passed away on June 20, 2017 due to complications from sickle-cell anemia), had an interesting journey. Havoc speaks on Prodigy’s battle with sickle-cell, the defacing of Prodigy’s memorial mural in his home neighborhood of Queensbridge, the making of the hip hop classics “The Infamous” & ” Hell On Earth”, and much more.

Video: The Outlawz Talk Tupac, Funkmaster Flex, Treach, & All Eyez On Me

Hip Hop collective The Outlawz ┬áhave a very deep history with the late, great Tupac Shakur. With its core members (E.D.I Mean, Young Noble, Napoleon, Kastro, Fatal, & Yaki Kadafi) having connected with Pac as kids,they spent an extensive amount of time with the hip hop legend and experienced many of the events that will be depicted in the upcoming “All Eyez On Me” biopic. Now with only two of the original members left (Kadafi and Fatal have passed away. Also, Thug Life rapper and early Outlawz collaborator Big Syke passed away recently.), they are on the verge of releasing their latest album “The Last Ones Left” (same title of a track from 2Pac’s “Until The End of Time” album.). They recently visited “Sway In The Morning” to speak about their times with Tupac, Funkmaster Flex’s recent comments about Tupac’s Quad City Studio’s shooting, Treach’s defense of Tupac, consulting the “All Eyez On Me” biopic, and their soon to be released album. They also brought artists Mike Green and Trigga Trife and emphasized that they “got next”.

Sean “Diddy” Combs aka P. Diddy aka Puff Daddy has had tremendous run in the music industry and beyond since the late 1990’s. part of his legacy is his record label, Bad Boy Records. On June 25th, 2017, Combs is slated to release a documentary about the Bad Boy legacy titled “Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop”. The documentary will feature old and new footage of Combs and Bad Boy artists over the years.

Diddy recently sat down with Jimmy Kimmel on his late night show to discuss the movie and much more.
